Athanasios Tsakonas is currently working as a Post Doc researcher at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Dept. of Informatics. He holds a Ph.D in the domain of intelligent systems for complex domains from the School of Bussiness Administration, University of the Aegean, with the grade of Excellent. He also holds a Postgraduate Diploma with honors by the same University, since November 2000, where he received the grade of 9.02 (Excellent) and a Dipl.Eng. by the Dept. of Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering, National Technical University of Athens since 1995, where he received the grade of 7.02 (Very Good). He speaks English, French, Swedish, Greek and some Italian and Spanish. He is member of the Greek Technical Chamber (TEE) since 1995.  He has authored or co-authored more than 35 publications.
